About the Event
Join us for BEGINNER backcountry skiing and split boarding up Baldy Mountain in Breckenridge. Don't worry about gear, if you need some the rentals are on us!!
This is a 2.62 round trip up the old monarch pass. We traverse the Forrest service road 237 up to the pass and travel the same route back. Keeps it very simple.
Distance uphill: 1.31 miles
Elevation gain: 372 ft
We will be meeting at Salida Mountain Sports to get all of our gear and perhaps car-pool up to the trailhead.
Register early, we will have limited group size. Ten days prior to the adventure our trip leader will reach out with details or further questions for you and will remain your point of contact for the event.
