Intermediate Mountain Biking

Spring is here and with it comes Mountain Bike Season!

If you took our intro course or passed on it because you already rip the green runs, this is your jam.

This course is for INTERMEDIATE riding skills and is open to a limeted number of non-veterans.  Sign-up closes July 16th at midnight and we will send out emails on the 17th to confirm attendance.  Because of the hightened inherant risk with intermediate riding, we will be limiting the number of participants.  Veterans, if you are brining a buddy/family member be sure to put eachother's names in the comments of your registration so we know who is who; Veterans get preferance with their partners.  There will be bit of uphill pedaling, be prepaired for a bike check as first step of our course.

If you need a bike, please reach out, we have a few available.

Required Equipmet:

Properly maintained mountain bike with at least a front suspension.

One water bottle and way to securly carry it and any other gear.

Helmet

Gloves reccomended but not required

Close toe stiff shoes

Our curriculum includes:

- Bicycle pre-ride inspection by Podium Sports

- Bike body separation review

- Wheel lifts (front, rear, level)

- Intro to drops

• Body separation
• Where to look
• Matching landing

- Wheelie

- Manual

- Better burm turns

We will be meeting in the parking area way across from the main building and skate park area.  Look for our banner!  Afterwards, hang out for a light lunch.
