Join us for our introduction backcountry skiing or split boarding course hosted by Copper Resorts, inbounds and away from avalanche danger with full medical response. Don't worry about gear, if you need some the rentals are on us!!

About the Event
Come join us for a beginner/refresher introduction to backcountry course. We will introduce how avalanche safety equipment is used, fit and use of your choice of skis or split board and then take a skin up. We will be following a 1.5 mile "backcountry" route climbing 600ft through the woods on a dedicated uphill track to the top of a green rated groomed run back down. Don't worry about having any gear, we got you! We will provide your choices of: backpack, transceiver, shovel, probe, boots, skis/board, and poles. **Rental split boarders will need to bring their own boots. Rentals are full sets only.
Be sure to come early as parking at Copper is serviced by bus to and from the resort.
