Back Country Hut Trip

We are very excited to offer our annual two night backcountry hut trip this year at Francies Cabin located 5 miles south of Breckenridge, CO at no cost to you. We look to continue to use this season finale event to showcase the skills we have learned throughout the season! 

All abilities are welcome, we will move as a group to and from the cabin at a gentle pace. Guests will have the opportunity to snowshoe, ski, or splitboard. We will work to ensure every guests has all of the gear that they may need for this trip. 

Register early, we will have limited group size due to local health orders. Upon registration our trip leader will reach out with details or further questions for you and will remain your point of contact for the event. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

If you register for an event, you are required to fill out the Accident Waiver in order to participate. We will bring them with us on the day of the event. You can view this document at bottom of webpage www.hcvaco.org/submit

If you register for an event and have not already been verifired through HCVA, you are required to submit proof of Military Veteran status. Eligible documents to verify are Veteran Health Identification Card, Veterans ID Card, State ID with Veteran Identification, or VA Proof of Service Letter. Please redact your social security number from any submitted document.
